Followed the chaps from the very early days as an adolescent to watching Sir Neil at a very small venue in Hebden Bridge,Yorkshire....such a nice man too.
Live Gigs included Brighton Dome -Bonzo Dog /Family and Free Plumpton Jazz and Pop Festival -196? De Monfort HAll 197? Leicester. Here they gave us the bad news of breaking up.I remember Vivian came out with his 'Skin Head' I stood next to him as he was listening to 'Mott the Hoople'...I think Lyceum? London. One of the Final gigs...could have wept
This October my Daughter is walking down the Aisle to 'Aunt Florries Waltz' from Rawlinson. She is a convert.
Well done for having such sophistication in your choice of music. Just bought a short term memory stick as I am now semi retired.

You is a very lucky Human Bean then Thiswayout! All I have is memories of the BDDDB on Do Not Adjust Your Set and stuff. Incidentally, I would class you as a 'seasoned' fan not 'aged' because The Bonzos keep the child alive inside. Once bitten by the Bonzo Dog it's impossible to leave the playground! It's brilliant that your daughter is walking down the aisle to Aunt Florrie's Waltz; I love that tune. I will always think of Vivian doing a cameo performance with Taj Mahal and the Desperadoes when he came on to accompany Aunt Florrie's Waltz with his trusty funnel, aquarium tube and trumpet mouthpiece. Pleased to meet you.
