We are planning to hold a listening this Sunday (14th December) at 9pm GMT, this will just be an event where people get together in the chat room and Moose head is going to stream some Bonzo's Music (and possibly talk, so it will be like a podcast). To take part you have to be in the chat room at the time as the link is generated automatically when he starts the show. You have to have java installed to use the chat room, most people have it anyway but if you want to check click on "chat" underneath the home page banner on the main page, if you don't have it you will be prompted to install it.
There is apparently an upper limit on how many people can listen so get there early to avoid disappointment. If you think you definitely can make it it would be helpful if you could post here too so moosehead can try and get as many people in as possible if it turns out to be really popular.

Tonight at 9 folks, don't forget.
See you in the chatroom (see the Chat button near the top of the front page), where I can give you the address to put into iTunes or whatever you use to listen to music.

I thought it was great fun - just the right combination of madness, chaos, comedy and music. Next time things should go a bit more smoothly in that we should have the right-hand channel on all the tracks, not just a select few. Not that it wasn't interesting to hear how the tracks had been put together. And the 'Guess which version of the next track is going to be played' game was fun too.
Oh and bertweedon is a saint, closely related to Percy Verance I suspect.

Oh yes, great fun indeed Well worth putting some effort into being at the next one. These are some of the things you missed... The voice of the only talking moosehead I've come across (he said I should drink more ) Insightful views of the Bonzos' by the above mentioned moosehead Unusual variants of some of the tracks from Gorilla A few tasty treats from other not so common Bonzo related material A wicked lightshow! (Though you had to rub your eyes vigorously to get the full effect ) And a wonderful opportunity to make snide remarks about the shows' host So, be there or be........ (Gah! How does that go?)

Fantastic or not this is going to happen tomorrow night at 9. Join the chatroom to get the address to listen and join in the discussion/bemusement as I find new and exciting ways to mess up a broadcast. And find out where the title comes from and why the Bonzos were 4 years ahead of their time. And hear the longest version of Rhinocratic Oaths (or Oates as one listing calls it) on record.

Hopefully the disappointment wasn't too much to bear.
My deepest apologies for the lack of show last night - for no reason that I can find (yet) the shiny new version of Nicecast recognises the shiny new iTunes, but refuses to admit that it's playing any music ever.
However I shall poke it and prod it and tickle it till it gives in.
And it will work for 9pm Sunday 8th February! One way or another...

Well yes, it was very anti-climatic. The sacrifices made in order to attend, like BurnleyBonzo missed the ice dancing on TV , RevSpike took time off from producing YouTube videos of himself doing vocals over the top of Bonzo tunes . BertWeedon sneaking time off work etc. Nancy had some helpful advice on how to fix it whilst I had to save my vitriolic outpourings for the next attempt Still, I think moosehead would've been the most disappointed having done all the preparation, bought a lame Mac (doesn't he know most of us have dark brown overcoats!) just the day before only to have the software choke on him The hour or so we spent chatting while moosehead toiled had it's moments. A little personal contact with the other board users is not as dismaying as you might think So consider trying to be there for the rerun, you'll enjoy it
