Oh no! I hope that doesn't happen to everyone at £39.99 a pop! What's the DVD like, have you had a chance to watch it yet?

It might have been better if it was 'machine tooled'!

Yes ironically and it probably would have been cheaper too, well there's only been one complaint here so far lets hope it was just Moosehead's copy with the fault.

Unfortunately they aren't replying to my emails or David's request to replace my copy, so it's looking like I'm going to have to go through Trading Standards. Ho hum.

Well, I haven't even received mine yet. I sent an email asking when it would be sent and received this: "We're sorry. There's a problem with the e-mail address(es) you're trying to send to. Please verify the address(es) and try again. If you continue to have problems, please contact Customer Support at (480) 624-2500. <info@bonzodog.co.uk>: child status 100...The e-mail message could not be delivered because the user's mailfolder is full."
Not sure what this means. Tried ringing cust servs number - doesn't work, tried 01926 843337, does work, on answerphone. Can leave messages. Tried 0845 0941355 , another one on website, "This number is not currently in use" is what was said. I hope this isn't going to turn into a saga. It looks so bad for the band, and is really just not fair. I will try the 01926 number on Monday. Otherwise, I'm only a 40 min drive from there, so will pay a visit.
Peeved, on everyone's behalf at what seems a shoddy product/service. I know David feels badly about it, too, and it is in no way his fault.
Having said that, had a great time at Banbury last night with 3 Bonzos and a Piano, so not all bad!! Do go and see them if they are anywhere even vaguely near you - you'll have a great time!

Success! After much to-ing and fro-ing got through to someone on 01926 840395 - she sounded a bit fed up! The fact she knew exactly what I wanted before I'd even said it suggests something! She rang me back in about 10 mins to say my book will be sent today (but not very forthcoming about why such a delay!). Suggest that anyone with a problem with non-delivery/pages falling out rings this number, or fax 01926 840268.

I got my copy of 'Jollity Farm' a week ago and, although the front cover could be better, I am very pleased with it. I am finding it interesting, informative, and funny. There are some things about it that could be better but I think that's true of almost every book about a band that I've ever read. On the whole I'm happy with it, and the DVD, and it did make me finally get around to joining this forum, so it can't be all bad.

As an adition to my last post on here, I have tried the DVD and it doesn't work at all. Won't play on either of our two players or my computer. So I need to find out how to get it replaced.
Any ideas (I have sent an e-mail via the Paypal e-mail account that we bought it from, direct from Angry Penguin Ltd).

Rather than sending emails into the untraceable ether, you should probably try phoning the number that lou got through on above.
Good luck.

Very very miserable and unhappy. Paid for the limited edition of new book and DVD for my partners birthday, he is an adoring fan and has been for most of his adult life - now 55!!! Angry Penguin took money out of account very promptly, i received an email saying confirmed order. This was three months ago. Sent endless emails, tried to phone!!!! No response from anyone. WARNING: husband driven up to the address, now a To Let board outside no-one there at all. I have been robbed!!!! So you lucky ones that at least received your copies. Though reading the other forum writers, it doesnt seem such a good buy anyway. What are the Bonzos doing, is it the ultimate piss take? Very cross and angry at who ?? Make up your own mind. Poor Steve he is so upset at all this.

Oh, Mrs E and everyone please don't think the Bonzos have anything to do with this. It is an independent venture by Bob Carruthers. Roger Spear has a copy of the book, too, and his has completely fallen apart. As have many other people's and everyone I know has a DVD that doesn't play (or will only play on a computer). Try phoning the number above, although last time I phoned no-one answered and I did hang on for ages. An alternative is to phone 118 118 and get the number for the address on the very front page of the book (I had it but now can't find it) - you have to give the address, rather than the Angry Penguin, as it is a company registration office. The man I spoke to there said a) AP had "no right" to put address in the book and b) if you wrote to that address (Munshull House, 67 Wellington Road North, Stockport, Chershire SK 4 2LP) they would forward letters. The only other thing I can do is speak with Doo-dah David, who has contact details for Bob Carruthers at AP and who will forward your complaints, I'm sure, but I will ask him first as the poor guy's got enough on his plate! I am so sorry and angry that the Bonzos name has been associated with this shoddy rubbish - it is not their fault, I know that the Three Bonzos (Roger, Rod and Sam) at least are pretty annoyed by it too.
I'll let you know my progress when I've spoken to David - he may well reply on here himself.
Best,
Louise

Mrs E, I will try and help if you email me your details. (Email link on The Question page of the Doo Dah Diaries website.) Although the production (and price) are nothing to do with me, my name is on the cover so I feel I shoulkd apologise for the shoddy situation. As Louise says, this is nothing to do with the Bonzos themselves, so please don't blame them. (And a nicer bunch of chaps, you could not meet.) I have one copy that I paid for and I was promised a repalcement DVD, that has never come. I was also promised 2 free copies, which have never come. I initially prompted the book, sending out lots of flyers, but have stopped because of all the problems. If your husband is a big fan and does not already have a volume of the 2008 Doo Dah Diaries, then I will be happy to send him one. So blooming annoying that the one book about the Bonzos has to be such an utter disaster. David

Not heard from Mrs E so have emailed my latest contact to ask what is happening. If no joy, I will email Bob Carruthers. David
