Hello. My name is Bryan Chandler, I'm a dj at KUSF 90.3 fm in San Francisco. I did a spotlight on Vivian last night, with an unheard of interview with Vivian Stanshall in 1979! I recently created a new audio archive which streams many of the excellent and wide-ranging programs that we broadcast on KUSF. We currently have over 2200 Posts and over 45 thousand visitors. This is quite obviously a labor of love that takes a lot of daily effort, so I really hope you'll check out some of the shows at your pleasure. Here is the website: www.kusf-archives.com/2009/09/kusf-092009-6-8-pm-spotlight-vivian.html The KUSF website is here: www.kusf.org. Thanks and best regards, Bryan

That was wonderful, thanks Bryan!
There are a few factual errors (my favourite is the idea that Viv lived in a canal boat in the Atlantic - even he wasn't that mad!), but it does give a very good feel for Viv and the Bonzos influence and place in the music world of the time.
I'm fairly sure I've heard the interview before, but in a much lower-quality version, so many thanks for that.
And it's always a pleasure to hear Viv and the Bonzos broadcast.

Hooray! (and Huzza!) Very much enjoyed hearing the program! What struck me most was the similarity to all the other retrospective Bonzo programs I've heard over the past 35 years (laughable errors aside) - there is a thematic core that persists throughout them which, I think, points to the persistent and, we hope, permanent influence of The Bonzos. Thank you!
