Has the film "The Seventh Python" been screened in England yet or have I just missed it? Hope they bring it out on DVD anyway.

I don't think it's been shown outside of the States yet. They plan to take it to some festivals (it's a really cool documentary and Neil is so endearing, it is sure to win some awards) prior to DVD release.

That's good news, I believe he directed the documentary about Viv "The Canyons Of His Mind" which was really well made so I'm sure this will be just as good.

I don't think it's the same folks. These guys are all Yanks, Burt Kearns is the director, along with Brett Hudson (from the Hudson Brothers, I'm sure you're too young to know about that, but he's Kate Hudson's uncle).
It came about because Bonnie who runs the Innes site works with the Hudsons and convinced them that a documentary about Neil playing a concert with some fans in LA would be interesting. They were intrigued because upon reading his resume they clearly should know who he was.. why didn't they?
It does NOT show much in the way of Bonzo footage nor any Python stuff (too expensive to get the rights) but it manages to cover all of that very cleverly through photos, interviews and Bonnie's astonishingly good animations. It's really a unique and clever way of telling Neil's story. By the end of it people who didn't even know who Neil was at the start were on their feet cheering.

After deciding against the Fest, I really don't like big extravaganzas, I'm so pleased to see that he's going to be in Bordentown, NJ, just a short hop down the road from me. Amazing. Pinch me.
