The plan was for Rodney Slater, Roger Ruskin Spear and Dave Glasson to join up with Sam Spoons at the Bill Posters gig in Barnes last night, to perform a few numbers from their Three Bonzos And A Piano repertoire. Which they did, with "Cool Britannia", "Shirt", "Alley Oop" (first performance of these two numbers since the 1968 according to Roger) and "Mr Slater's Parrot". The bonus for Bonzos fans was that Roger and Rodney sat in for most of the Bill Posters set, (both being former members), because regular sax player Jim Chambers was missing. Dave Glasson also joined in on a few numbers. (Sam of course is a member of the Bill Posters and so performed throughout.) It was a full house for the Bill Posters' anniversary gig, (blimey, we even had queue to get in!) and it was a night to remember with the combined Posters and Bonzos on brilliant form. David

It certainly was a fantastic night! I've never seen it so busy!
Was amazingly chaotic.
Watching Rodney and Roger attempt to hold up a peice of paper with the lyrics on it really was hilarious. Only 'they' could manage to make such a mess of it and for so long.
Brilliant.
