Hello, I wanted to let everyone on the Bonzo board about the petition site I have set up for signatures to encourage Neil to come to the US to promote his documentary "The Seventh Python" and give some of his fans who have never seen him live because his concert was too far away to travel. It would be great if he would go on Larry King Live!, next best is one of the late night talk shows. So please spread the word and sign the petition! Here is the link: www.ipetitions.com/petition/theseventhpythonIf you have any questions, contact me at my personal page Rokuvajes or the Neil In Us Unofficial Fans' Page. Thanks everybody!

I'll sign it but I'd also like him to do more promotion in England too, he hardly does any only Bonzo's fans like us who follow him on the net really know whats going on. I went to see one of my other friends who doesn't visit their site the other day and showed him the new album, he didn't even know they had done one! And he'd heard nothing about the tour and new gigs. They really don't do enough to promote their stuff.
In fact upon reading the petition I shouldn't sign it as it calls for US fans and I'm not so it would be misleading. But please everyone from America reading this do sign! And does that include Canada Rockalizer?

Yes, I cannot sign it because I am not a US fan.

Incidentally everyone I started my own petition for the Bonzo's PR people to work harder at publicizing the band, I've explained how and why in the thread containing the link and made it an announcement so it's at the top of every board. Please sign it as the more publicity the band get the more they are likely to do more gigs which is good for all of us.

I kind of think that the PR people, whoever they are, are probably already doing what they can within the budget they have, but I signed one or both (not sure now, it was through Myspace) of these petitions anyway.
If Neil were to come here, it would have to be for more than a spot of promo, I'm guessing.

He does have links in America a lot of the TV shows he did after the Bonzo's were more successful in the US than here. He also worked with Craig Kellam (he used to be in charge of programming on a big TV Network there and produced "The Rutles") on a lot of things who's an American obviously and is still there as far as I know.
