Not autobiographical this time more his thoughts on his favourite subjects, apparently including "football, sex, and the school rabbit". I might feel more inclined to read this one as I did feel he was little young to write an autobiography, it will be more interesting when he's about 40 to read a book like that by him. www.thebookseller.com/news/54781-another-booky-wook-for-hodder.html

I've just finished 'Irons in the fire', which is his collection of footy columns and I really like his style of writing.

It sounds like it will be similar to his TV series "Ponderland" did you see it? they showed it all in one week one episode every night which was a strange way to do it and easy to miss. It was a good show and I'm looking forward to reading the book as he probably expands on the things he was talking about, the show only had half an hour episodes so there wasn't time to say too much.

I did it was hilarious. I remember the bit with the Santana gang and the gang member with his sayings "You'd better watch out", still cracks me up.
I'm surprised he didn't bring out the book to coincide with the show, as it does sound like it will be the same material.

Yeah the "you better watch out" guy was one of the highlights , I liked the stuff about the "Guvnor" from the same episode too, with the HATE!, and the clip he showed of the little guy interviewing him and he asks him how he's beat him up and he mimed smashing him in the face then biting his ear off. I just bought one of the unofficial biographies of him (Russell) called "mad bad and dangerous to know". The guys at his fan forum don't reckon much on it they say you could find out everything in it by watching the shame DVD and a few interviews. It was cheaper than the Booky Wook though which is still only in hard back in WH Smith and 15 quid even in the sale. I've seen it on eBay quite cheap so I might get it next week, just to compare it to the unofficial one I've got to see how accurate it is, and people say it's well written though painfully honest at times.
