I thought she killed them all off in that weird Halloween episode where they all died ironic deaths relating to their characters?
And The way they have killed off Johnny in this new series is one of the most ropey plot lines I've ever witnessed in my life!
I thought we'd finally seen the end of this awful sit com, but no, "Grown Ups" must have not been popular enough as she's started writing "Two Pints" again.

I must admit, I always quite liked Two Pints. But the Johnny stroyline is pretty pants, obviously Ralph Little didn't want to do another series. I noticed they've got someone else behind the bar aswell... Also the laughs are a bit thin on the ground so far But Nancy, if you dislike it so much, how come you know the plotlines and names so well?

They show nothing but it on BBC Three when it's on do they? lol. I watched them all when they were repeated a million times, and I watched the first bit of the new series to see if it would be explained why they all aren't dead now, but apparently not. Did anyone else see the musical episode? I think it was a one off but that was quite funny, it showed how they all met, or at least how Johnny and his Janet got together with a load of songs inserted. I suppose they had to bring back or what would all the people who got too old to be Holly Oaks do with themselves?

I think it is aimed at a younger audience than moi. I caught an episode once and didn't think much of it. Ralph was great in the Royale Family as the put upon son, but I haven't seen him in anything since, that matches up to that standard. Does anyone remember the song? I bought it on vinyl when it came out. What a load of tosh. I will look for it on youtube and force you all to listen to it.

infinitely funnier than the TV series any day, the record is funnier at the end you hear him start sobbing when the last orders bell goes before he's served, classic.

Not sure it's the same song as I remember it too and the totally loopy Max Splodge and his band Splodgenessabounds. My christmas was made better last year by not only seeing the wonderful Bad Manners but also Max Splodge as support singing punk classics as well as his own songs. I like the show, at least it stands out from the really lame sitcoms that are produced these days. Oh dear I sound old

I think it is a lame sit com, the dialogue is repetitive and the characters flat and often annoying, I was really glad to see the back of it. I now wish I had watched Grown ups and encouraged others to do the same, then maybe she wouldn't have gone back to Two Pints.

The article is quite old (it's from last year) but I'm not the only person who hates Two Pints, look! tinyurl.com/2saeqbI particularly enjoyed the line where he says the BBC Three Scheduling makes him want to "reach for the Tesco Value Gin, a packet of blades, and go and have a special bath".
