Maybe , if you want to get more people to post, you could start a competition... Something like 'Free lobster for the person who makes most posts this month/year'. Or if you can't afford lobster, maybe a bun, a couple of ringpulls and a piece of lint. Something like that, anyway. But I wouldn't go around deleting people, they're doing no harm, they don't even smell that bad as long as you sit upwind.

It's alright we abandoned the idea of deleting inactive members anyway.

I know I'm late on replying to this one, but please Nancy, don't delete people who don't post much. The idea of giving them notice ahead of time is good. I try to get to this board as often as I can, which hasn't been much. I need to learn more about the Bonzos, so I'll be needing to ask questions. I've been bogged down in doing a web page about Neil, something small and unassuming as I don't ever want to compete or defeat Bonnie and Laurie's site. And I don't want to do anything to hurt this site either. On any page I may come up with (or not), I put the URLs to all the other sites: this one, .org, iankitchings, bonzo.co.uk (or is it bonzodog.co.uk?) or any other sites that I can find and will fit on the site. It really says something when someone almost half my age would be the one to start a page about a 60's band. It is so good to see that current and future generations learn about the history or rock/pop music. And that means you have to start with the 50's, no radio plays that music any more. So long live the Bonzos!

So long live the Bonzos! Not to worry, deletion was only suggested for those who have never posted, so you're definitely safe. And it seems to have been an unpopular idea anyway. And it looks like you need to delve a bit further back - with the Bonzos you have to start with the 20's. And while you're right about traditional radio only playing current and recent hits, there are some brilliant internet radio stations that play weird music from just about every decade and genre known to... to... people who know music.
