I can't think of any songs with Andy in. This is exactly the kind of whiny love song that I despise! Andy ยป Indigo Girls Andy do you love me do you think about it will you say Turning brushwood into blazes turning summer grass into hay Turning sharply past the graveyard to the lakefront with the black waves licking up the stones To the swayed back screened in front porch who could ever stay the weight of flesh and bones Andy aren't you tired from the sun and rain and river soaking you From the beer cans on your dashboard and the bullet hole glass spiderweb staining your rear view I have watched you watch an empty road is it only her upon which all of you's depending To fill your twenty hour work day while all the fences in this county still need mending And in the night I do my checking and fix the broken part with visions of rare beauty But in my heart I know I'm second forever fixed in your pursuit it is my duty Andy will you toss me a little scrap of something I can taste Instead of dust from all the leaving and the smell of summer lying here to waste Under the burnt pyre of all the cast away the tiny shoots will spring like questions will you take me Out to the fenced field sprinkled with horses, wild in resistance to the taming will you break me Will you break me

Well, my nickname was inspired by Piggy Bank Love - but I'm sure you all guessed! I don't think there's any song with Poppy in - unless I missed it of course! If you know of any songs that might be about a Poppy, be my guest

"...a pretty nurse is throwing poppies from a train..."
The Beatles, "Penny Lane"
Plural. Pretty close. There's also a Patti Smith song, "Poppies."

Hmm... I was thinking more of a Poppy girl as opposed to a poppy flower but your intentions are certainly good!
Just noticed I became a Trouser Freak, which is good; weather too cold to wear skirts.
Oops! Last sentence totally random, sorry about that!

If you know of any songs that might be about a Poppy, be my guest Holly Up On Poppy by XTC on the album Nonsuch As for my name the only one I can think of is Mairi's wedding, which is a Scottish folk song

I like that band, out of all the pop bands around at the moment they seem the most original.

Mine now crops up in The Hoosiers chart song 'Worried About Ray' Ray? You said, "Ray?" One of my favorite songs, "It's A Shame About Ray" by The Lemonheads.

I can't think of any songs with Andy in. (Though from the others' posts, this may not be a bad thing) Just remembered, Frank Zappa does a song called "Andy" too, very good it is as well.

Barbara Ann(e) by the Beach Boys. I was probably about 5 years old when that came out. Barbara was a very popular name in the 50's, so I got stuck with it! Actually, it is an old family name. And Nancy, that was the name of my very best friend in grade school. I still think of her now and then. She dropped me in favor of taking drugs. It really devastated me.
