This has nothing to do with anything, but I just heard Jollity Farm playing on that boring ITV hospital drama The Royal. I ran down stairs to tell my Dad, and met him on the way up (he was running to tell me).
As I said, it's nothing to do with anything. I just thought I'd mention it.

my son used makaton - and jollity farm is wonderful for signing. bet viv didn't expect he'd be helping kids with special needs. in fact he prob would have made my boy laugh www.makaton.org/

Theres a song called misery but of that well have none.........their is a very wry version of this on the Classic Rock Bonzo DVD

has everyone heard the original of the song "Jolity farm"? It's actually a cover by the Bonzo's it was originally by a bloke called Jack Payne, he also did the song "Mr and Mrs Micky Mouse" that the bonzo's do a cover of which is on the same album as jolity Farm, (Gorilla I believe).
I'll stick it in the stuff section now if anyone wants to hear it it's quite interesting, sounds like it's from the 20's but can't find out anymore about it. The Bonzo's do a better version I think, much funnier.
