My dearest homo-sapiens, This is the voice of The Electric Head. Well actually it's AL, one half of comedy double act The Electric Head, but I thought Id let him introduce himself (otherwise he gets stroppy you see) Anyway, I posted on these forums some time ago explaining that seeing the Bonzos on their last tour had inspired me to go and dsome comedy of my own. hence this post, something of a follow up you might say. We have since recorded 6 half hour podcasts which can either be listened to on Itunes or played directly on our myspace page. The choice being yours. Clever eh? Also I thought I'd use this opportunity to plug our first ever live performances for which we are knee deep in rehearsal right now! They will be as par tof The Camden Fringe, @ liberties bar, August 24th and 25th. I think anybody with a taste for dada-eque tomfoolery and a sweet tooth for the silly for the sake of it will enjoy The Electric Head. hence posting on a bonzos forum you see. Anyway. le tus know if you can make the shows, and if you cant, at least let us know how much you hated our podcasts, it gets lonely down here you know. Thank you very much my fellow homo-sapiens, and remember none of this is really happening. AL + The Electric Head

Rather than let everyone loose to wander round myspace like a herd of rabbits on the M1, their page is here. Can't really comment on the show as I'm having bandwidth problems tonight, which has chopped the sound into random-length-wee-little-soundbites. Anywhere between half a second and two seconds then 5 seconds of silence. Like that game of skipping channels during the ad break to make sentences - only less coherent and slower. Lobsterly surreal, though. Oh, and Transformers the movie is even more crap than you could possibly have feared.

Well thank you muchly!
it is indeed good to hear that a bonzo fan enjoys our comedy!
To be honest the first podcast season is fairly far behind us now and we feel liek the material we are generating at the moment is far superior. Tested ourselves with the podcasts and now we ar ein a groove even if I do say so myself.
We ar enot going to make it to edinburgh this year for two simple reasons a) we cant affor dit! and b) we are doing live shows in Camden at the time of the edinburgh fringe. But we should be moving our show around soon enough. Tell your friends!
Also we reckon we are perfect material to make fools of ourselve sin the bonzos intro/outro! But we will be buggered if we know how to go about it! Any ideas?
Glad you enjoyed kite on Titan! that is one particular number which will be performed LIVE this august! if we can remember the words.
x AL
(p.S join our myspace if you can!)

I've seen rehearsals and they are VERY funny...you won't regret seeing these guys! Unfortunately I live in Scotland but keep us up to date with what you're doing I did wonder if Edinburgh was getting a bit too expensive for a lot of acts but considering the damn thing gets bigger every year thought maybe not, as I suppose cramming about 20 people into a 2 bedroom flat is the price of fame. ;D
