I was talking to my brother on Sunday about the differences between the version of Tadpoles that is on the Cornology set and the one he taped from his vinyl lp.
His vinyl lp has canyons of your mind the single version? It has the intro 'this is the b side of this platter sports fans and I'm singing just for you covered in sequins and slush, labio dental fricative and suspicion on it. Was there two versions of it released??? he did say he thought it had a different title.

I've never heard of Slush, Labio Dental Fricative and Suspicion being on there. I've only heard of the American variant with Ready-Mades on. The only re-issue under a different name I've heard of was when it was released through Sunset Records, and it was called 'Urban Spaceman' - I have this copy, and it's exactly the same as the original.
All vinyl versions of Canyons have the 'this is the B-side of our platter sports fans...' on, but it was cut off from the cornology set for some reason.

I was surprised when I saw the list for the cornology set and saw the three songs weren't there, as I've been listening to what I thought was Tadpoles for years and apart from Slush, Labio Dental Fricative and Suspicion, it is exactly the same. I'm very confused at the moment

on my version of tadpoles, canyons doesn't start with the 'this is the b side of this platter sports fans..' it is the liberty pressing and neither does the single version i have which is on the liberty label. the only version i have heard with a intro of "'this is the b side of this platter sports fans, hope it makes you sick" is on the complete BBC recordings album.
i think that the other stuff on your "tadpoles album" was added to the end of the tape as all that is solo stuff and was after the last bonzo album.
god i sound like a right nerd!!!look out theres a weirdo coming!!!

I think what my brother has done is put singles on the end of the albums I remembered he had put on Monster Mash and Urban Spaceman on Doughnut but had assumed they were the only ones.
