I ordered it (for the second time - DAMMIT!) on Sunday and it arrived on Tuesday.
Anyone else read it?
The Bonzo tour stories in particular are hilarious!

A lovely man from the Innesboard is sending it to me. In the meantime I have made do with listening to the downloads of interviews to which ivorykisses has uploaded links over there. Neil tells some great road stories.

Yeah, I've been dowloading them too I liked the 'Return to Jollity Farm' one, where Sam Spoons can't remember any of the facts properly... Sam: "I can't remember who played the piano at the time" Neil: "It was ME, Sam." I won't spoil the book for you by posting some of the funny stories, but rest assured you will spend a good few days giggling like a schoolgirl! However, I think I read in a Pete Moss interview (on Vivarchive) that some things in the book are wrong, and I spotted one or two little things like that.

The book is brilliant, a really good read. I especially like the Kieth Moon stories, one of which had me grinning for days!

I quite enjoyed it when I read it, but immediately afterwards felt let down that I didn't feel I understood Vivian any better for it. Full of wonderful facts, but short on insight.
Well, that's what I felt anyway.

Yeah, it's more like a collection of stories and anecdotes than a biography.

Well, that's what I felt anyway. He did a good radio documentary I've got where he went round interviewing his family and friends, including his mother and one of his old girlfriends (possibly his wife) that's quite insightful. And Stephen Fry did a good radio documentary. I'll upload them somewhere, maybe we could start a yahoo group to store files, or is everyone a member of the existing Bonzo's Yahoo group? I could upload the there.

Stick them on the existing one, then anyone who hasn't already can join up. Although......it would be nice to have one exclusively for our downloads and pictures!

I've uploaded "From Essex Teenager" the documentary by viv to a file sharing site as the yahoo groups were useless for such large files (both documentary's are about an hour long). The Stephen Fry one is too big unfortunately, I'll find another way to share it. The link is here: www.4shared.com/dir/4261198/4cbd6412/sharing.html it should be easy to download if not let me know and I'll find another place to host them.

OK I'll have to find another site. It's proving difficult as one of the files is so big, I think I have finally found a site that will accept it but it's taking ages to upload.
