Having had a quick peek at Google, it's beginning to look like he's known as Cromwell to quite a lot of people in the States... maybe it's some ingenious kind of tax avoidance scheme. Or maybe he has a psychotic ex-wife who lives in the States who had a clause written into the divorce, saying that if she ever saw his name on a gig list again he'd have to hand over all the royalties on 'Peaches' in perpetuity.

Oh, now I see the dilemma. Hm. Whatever his name is, he's gonna be there. I confess that if I ever heard The Stranglers, I can't remember when. I was thinking of going, mostly, OK, entirely because of The Friggs, but the price is kinda steep, and they'll be playing a shorter set than they usually do.
