Roger Ruskin Spear « Result #5 on Dec 10, 2009, 1:49pm »
Oh, my gosh, I just discovered that Roger's father is Ruskin Spear. I had no idea he is the son of a leading 20th century, British artist! It makes total sense that Roger landed up in art school and creates all those strange contraptions. He has some engineering ability, too. I like Ruskin Spear's art. I am looking to buy one of his prints. Super!
Original Bonzos Contract « Result #6 on Dec 9, 2009, 5:43pm »
Hi folks
I have an original Bonzos appearance contract signed by Viv. I have 2 actually - but keeping one. I wondered if you knew the best place to advertise it for sale. I have always been a huge Bonzos fan, and had the pleasure of meeting them backstage at Reading University a lifetime ago!
Regards
Steve

Thanks for the link. They are suitably bizarre, as if Chas. Addams had been asked to put together a girl group. As a collector of the weird, wonderful and tuba-based, whether original tracks (cf Biscuithead and the Biscuit Badgers) or modern pop hits, I can definitely say something. But as it's 8.30 on a Monday morning anything I have to say will be slurred, blurred and best unheard.

The Kransky Sisters « Result #8 on Dec 7, 2009, 2:29am »
Forgive me if this is widely known, but this act is new to me and I wanted to share the discovery with anyone who is unaware of them. They were mentioned by David Richoux in the Yahoo Bonzo group. He wonders if they might be Bonzo-inspired. They are an Australian comedy & music trio of "sisters". Unusually macabre, very funny, and they do refreshing musical treatments of standards like "Highway To Hell", "Sweet Dreams", and "Psychokiller". Their website will be found here: http://www.thekranskysisters.com/ At the bottom of the page are quite a few links to YouTube videos of their work. I found myself helplessly hypnotized for several hours.
